Terms & Conditions for Pelago's Best Prices Guaranteed Campaign
This promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Encounters Pte Ltd (“Pelago”) and is valid for bookings made between April 2023 (00:00 Singapore time) and 31 Dec 2024 (23:59 Singapore time) (“Promotion Period”).
For successful claims, Pelago will refund the price difference (between Pelago's price and other travel experience website's price) in the form of a Pelago promotion code, once Pelago verifies that the lower rate on other travel experience websites complies with the following terms and conditions: - If a Pelago promo code was used when making the Pelago booking, the customer will receive a refund based on the discounted price stated on Pelago. - The price difference should be minimally SGD1 (or other currency equivalent), and will be refunded via a Pelago promotion code. - Refunds will only be made after the activity date has passed (i.e. activity has completed and booking was not cancelled), within a period of 10 days. - Travel experience website refers to official channels and registered travel agencies. - Bookings where Gift Cards are applied will not be eligible for this campaign.
To be eligible for the promotion, the price found on the other travel experience websites must be lower (excluding discounts) than the final price paid on Pelago (including discounts) and must meet the following conditions: - Same activity, inclusions and option selected - Same dates of visit - Same currency. Except when the website does not offer payment in your local currency, which Pelago will review based on prevailing rates. - Rate must be available to the general public and verified through Pelago
Prices that will not be applicable are: - Discounted prices - Non-public prices (e.g., company rates, group rates, membership program rates) - Prices offered as part of a package (e.g., tour package) - Prices that are no longer available, viewable or bookable on the Internet at the time of verification by Pelago - Credit card offers - Seasonal pricing (e.g., school holidays, summer holidays) - Flash sales and/or limited time offers (e.g. first 50 bookings)
All claims must be submitted on or prior to the activity date of the booking on Pelago. Only 1 successful claim can be submitted per booking.
All bookings are subject to Pelago’s Terms of Use, and all collection, use and disclosure of personal data submitted for purchases made during this Promotion will be in accordance with Pelago’s Privacy Policy.
Pelago reserves the right to amend or withdraw any terms and conditions of this Promotion, and/or terminate the Promotion, without any prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
The terms and conditions of this Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
